Switching from IE to Firefox

For most people, using Internet Explorer is natural. It's the browser that comes pre-installed on their computer, so it's the browser they use. Unfortunately, Internet Explorer isn't exactly the optimal choice when comparing it to some of the other options out there. To be honest, it isn't even second best. Or third, really. Security features, extension and add-on support, open-source licensing, spell checking, and web-standards compliance are a few of the areas in which the Firefox web browser bests Internet Explorer. Google's Chrome browser is another decent choice, but Firefox is what we'll focus on for this article, as it's by far the majority leader in alternative browsing.
